This Suzani was handmade during the early 20th century in Uzbekistan.
This suzani is composed of a central floral motif embroidered in silk on an open red cotton field. Flanked by vibrant multi-tiered blossoming flowers to the right and left and framed by a lively floral meander. A multitude of colors are used for the embroidery, including turqoise, green, white, yellow, and purple.
In good condition with several small holes and tears (as pictured)
