This Heriz rug was handwoven during the 21st century.
It features a symmetrical all over garden lattice that is densely populated with stylizes floral rosettes, palmettes, and leafy vines in soft coral, midnight blue, ivory and pistachio on a rare golden yellow ground. The red ground main border is composed of blossoming palmettes and crisply rendered saz leaves. A soft-spoken palette that is well-balanced plays off of contrast. Densely woven of high-quality wool making a hard-wearing new production piece that properly honors old techniques and craftsmanship.
In excellent unused condition.
