This Turkish rug was woven in Central Anatolia during the third quarter of the 20th Century.

It features two latch-hooked medallions in silver, chocolate, and ivory on a striated burnt orange ground. A main border of large skeletal rosettes on a ground that shifts between camel and silver is sandwiched between matching minor borders of diagonal  "S" scrolls. A dynamic rug that is both soft and powerful.

In excellent condition for its age. It features a loose but heavy handle of plush wool.
