This Konya rug was handwoven during the middle of the 20th century in central Anatolia.
It features a striking allover lattice design with repeating floral rosettes and angular motifs in a balanced palette of earthy terracotta, chocolate brown, ivory, and soft blue. The wide border, decorated with stylized stars and angular vine elements, frames the field beautifully, adding depth and structure to the pattern. The bold yet harmonious composition and soft tones exemplify the sophisticated village weaving traditions of the region.
In very good condition. The pile is medium and even, with a soft, meaty handle.
