This Zemmour rug was woven in the middle Atlas mountains of Morocco during the middle of the 20th century.
It features a bold diamond design in a striking palette of magenta, orange, black and ivory, accented with intricate lattice and geometric motifs. The vibrant colors and dynamic patterning reflect the artistic spirit of the Zemmour weaving tradition. In a very rare large squarish size. Perfect for adding energy and warmth to any space. A very free-spirited weaving.
In very good condition, with minimal wear. The pile is thick, with a soft handle.
