Antique hooked rug crafted during the second quarter of the 20th century in the Northeastern United States.
This runner features a straightforward but complex pattern of two interwoven scrolls on a camel ground. One scroll is a solid red and the other is striped green which accentuates the contrast and adds to the perceived dimensionality. The edges have been reinforced by thin beige binding.
In very good condition, with signs of wear consistent with age. Hard to find runner size.
