This Moroccan-styled rug was woven during the 21st century in Afghanistan.
It features an idiosyncratic lattice pattern over color blocks of lavendar and wheat on an ivory ground. Woven of hearty, hand-spun Afghan wool giving it durability and extra heft not commonly found in the Moroccan weaving usually associated with this patterning.
In excellent condition, with no signs of wear. Pile is thick, with a soft handle.
