19th Century Lavar Kerman features a central medallion with a curvilinear floral design and scalloped cornices. The field is a rich raspberry color, nicely contrasted by the lighter pinks and creams of the cornices. The minor borders are composed of vine and leaf motifs, while the main border contains alternating blossoms in diamonds and cartouches.

This Lavar Kerman rug was handwoven during the late 19th century.

This intricate rug features a central medallion with a curvilinear floral design and scalloped cornices. The field is a rich raspberry color, nicely contrasted by the lighter pinks and creams of the cornices. The minor borders are composed of vine and leaf motifs, while the main border contains alternating blossoms in diamonds and cartouches. 

In very good condition for it's considerable age with even wear throughout. Pile is low, with a sturdy handle. Ends have been reinforced for longevity. The sides have evidence of old folk repairs done over the years to keep them intact (as pictured)
