This Tulu rug was woven during the late 20th century in central Anatolia.
It is a very happy rug that features a hodgepodge of plus or cross-like symbols in different proportions that are randomly scattered about the plush pile. The blue, yellow, and green symbols are largest in the cheerful yellow center and most plentiful in the apricot border that frames the whole. The rug is finished with kilim skirt ends.
In excellent condition, with no signs of wear. Pile is thick and shaggy, with a soft handle.
