This Shiraz rug was handwoven during the end of the 20th century.   This cheerful Shiraz rug features a well-balanced variation of the Herati design in a fun and fresh palette that includes turquoise, green aubergine, yellow, orange, and both hot and dusty pink on a Nantucket red ground. The whole composition is framed by a strong border of alternating palmettes and serrated leaves.

This Afshar rug was woven during the end of the 20th century.  It features classic patterning associated with the Afshar people of Sirjan. In the center are three small ivory medallions on a deep navy field surrounded by a glowing pink field which itself lays upon a final field of cobalt. The classic palette of reds and blues is rendered in a softer more pastel variant here. Small symbols and figures fill the negative space, making this a very visually interesting rug.
