Lilihan rug handwoven in Western Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This cheerful Lilihan features a field of botehs and rosettes in soft blues, rusty reds and pale yellow on a festive watermelon ground. Framed by the aquamarine ground which highlights the blue and perfectly balances the prominent pink ground of the field.
In very good condition with visible even wear throughout. The pile is low, with a sturdy handle. All four sides have been reinforced for longevity.
