This block print was handmade in Rajasthan during the turn of the 20th century. 

It features various naturalistic floral motifs and squares that are made with hand-drawn mordant and resist-dyed cotton. In various reds and purples with sage, dutch orange, and most notably a neon pink. These pieces are referred to as Jajam and often made as part of a dowry. They are used for honored guests or communally as a seat for village council members when making social and judicial decisions.

In very good condition, some areas of color run and staining. Very hearty and durable.  Made of thick cotton and a thick yellow backing.
