This Boujad rug was woven in the Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco during the middle of the 20th century.
This fun and bright rug is mostly flatwoven with some colorful poofs woven with pile. It is patterned in various stripes with red, orange, bright pinks, highlighter yellow purples, and lime green. Colorful diamonds and other protection symbols are embellished over the top.
In good but slightly worn condition mostly affecting the woven pile embellishments. Some of the original macrame fringe ends are still intact and other parts missing. Soft and shaggy with a loose handle.
