This antique Yazd rug from central Iran was handwoven during the first quarter of the 20th century (1900-1925).
It features a striking floral central medallion on a deep maroon field. Ivory details lighten the intricate floral design in the field and along a scrolling flowering vine border.
In good condition, with some wear in the middle (pictured), foundation is still intact and structurally sound.
