This Turkish rug was woven in Central Anatolia during the third quarter of the 20th Century.
It features an all-over design of stylized vases surrounded by blossoming flowers and small birds in vibrant blues, greens ivory, and gold on a flamingo ground. Surrounded by a main border of rosettes and scrolling leaves on a golden yellow ground.
In excellent condition for its age. It features a loose but heavy handle of plush wool.
