This Ersari Turkmen rug was woven during the first quarter of the 20th century in Northern Afghanistan.
It features a traditional Ersari gül design on a soft brick ground, with oranges, and navy small ivory accents completing the color palette. The guls progressively stretch from rounder to more oval from top to bottom. In a hard-to-find and highly desirable mid-size.
In good condition with consistent all-over wear and one repair patch utilizing a different rug (as pictured )
