This Kerman was handwoven in Central Iran during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It features an elegant allover design of wild "c" scrolls entangled in waves of floral sprays in blues, reds, purple, and gold on a wonderful seafoam green ground. The intricate and perfectly reconciled spiraling border melds right into the controlled chaos of the field.
In good condition, with areas of wear to the foundation throughout (as pictured). Medium pile, with a floppy handle.
