This kilim was handwoven during the middle of the 20th century in Turkey.
It was woven in two panels and stitched together down the center, what is known as a weaver's kilim. Rows of connected pentagons and diamonds run along the length of the piece. White, orange and yellow sit atop a striking red ground. A small section of the fringe is a bright yellow, adding a unique touch to this rug.
In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age.
