This Sivas rug was handwoven in Central Turkey during the middle of the 20th century.
It features an elegant allover design of palmettes and wreaths formed of leaves in a uncommon and pleasing palette of seafoam green, turquoise, burgundy, pale yellow, gray and burnt orange. Bright and cheerful in a desirable ~5 x 8 size.
In very good condition, with low dense pile and a floppy handle.
