Contemporary Shiraz kilim.
The simple design is woven with a mix of undyed wool and naturally dyed wool in blue, green, and red. The top of the rug contains a window looking out onto an abstracted landscape, of mountains, valleys, and sky. Small red and blue crosses dot the remainder of the field, which contains abstract shapes rendered through the variegated wool.
In excellent condition, with no signs of wear. Flatwoven, with a light yet sturdy handle. With braided fringe on the ends.
