This unusual Karaja rug features a Tree of Life composition rendered in a vivid palette of indigo, madder, ivory, and soft terracotta tones. It combines the technical precision and geometric boldness typical of Karaja weavings with a spiritually resonant format more commonly associated with urban workshop rugs.

A vertical tree rises through the center of a saturated blue field, its radiating branches flanked by two stylized shrubs. The composition evokes themes of growth, connection between heaven and earth, and the enduring cycle of life. The red ground main border, with its serrated rosettes and geometric vinery, frames the field in rhythmic harmony.
