North American quilt, hand-sewn during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This quilt is based on a rectangular hexagonal quilt block (pattern) that starts in the center and expands out. It is composed of pieced together fabrics, most probably recycled materials from around the home. The scalloped edge of the quilt suggests this piece was sewn by an expert quilter.
In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Can be used as a quilt or as a wall display, as it already has loops for hanging.
