This Moroccan rug was woven in the High Atlas mountains during the 20th century.
It features a powerful wine-colored ground that appears solid at first glance but subtly shifts in tone with the added charm of randomly placed moments of color and the addition of simple symbols.
In very good condition, with minimal wear. The pile is thick, with a soft handle.
