Vintage Orange and Seafoam Anatolian Rug - 6'7 x 11'6
This Turkish rug was woven in Central Anatolia during the third quarter of the 20th Century.
It features a seafoam medallion on a burnt orange ground with ivory cornices. The field and cornices feature well-structured and nicely spaced burr-like forms. The main border features vegetal forms on the same seafoam ground as the central medallion is sandwiched between matching minor borders of scrolling blossoming vines on an ivory ground.
In excellent condition for its age. It features a loose but heavy handle of plush wool.
