This Lori rug handwoven in the early 20th century in Southwest Iran.
It features a warm color palette of vibrant red and fiery orange with blue and ivory accents on a dark wool warp. Its bold geometric design is comprised of three central medallions encapsulated by multiple intricate borders.
In good condition, the pile has worn through in two areas (pictured), otherwise, the pile is intact. Wear is consistent with age.
