This classic Heriz features a geometric central medallion on rich saturated tones and meaty wool. A brick-red field is complemented by deep navy, french blue, sage, and coral tones with brass and ivory accents. The four teal cornices soften the rug and a wonderful undulating abrash adds layers to the composition. The main border is wider than most and gives the piece a grander feel.

This Saryk turkmen aestetics was woven in Turkmenistan during the late 19th century.

It features a repeat field of octagonal main guls and cruciform minor guls on a richly colored  plum ground. The back showcases Tekke sensibility, with tightly packed asymmetric knots, high warp depression, and deeply toned red wefting—all hallmarks of classic 19th-century Tekke craftsmanship. The borders are dense and harmonious, filled with geometric detailing and anchored by elegant guards.

Sanjabi Kurd features a field of graphic hexagons filled with stylized protection symbols in handsome tones of blues, reds, aubergine and ivory on a deep navy ground. Each pair of hexagons is neatly separated by bands of geometric shapes. Well executed patterning that is very refined for type. This Baluch rug was handwoven during the early 20th century in Afghanistan.

It features two octagonal Turkmen guls on a red ground and framed by a border of hourglass and cruciform shapes. Rich saturated tones and nice interplay between light and dark. It has original kilim ends on top and bottom that are each embellished with their own weft float pattern. This balisht has it's original kilim back still intact and which employs thick stripes of red, orange, brown and ivory.

It features an all-over design of penguin-like botehs waddling row by row in alternating directions. The botehs shift slightly in proportion and placement giving the composition a wavy feel. Adding to the funky feel and nature of the rug the weaving style begins to change near the top from a crisper weave to a looser one while the colors used slowly begin to shift as the new weaver presumably began to run out of the original yarn.
