Antique Tabriz oversized rug featuring a central medallion with multiple iterations of the Herati pattern that maintains the same scale but subtly changes color combination to a great visual effect. The repeat Herati emanates in different waves from a dark brown center to soft-toned grounds of ivory, teal, and burnt orange. Four cornices work in the opposing direction and reflect color the exchange found in the center.

This Baluch rug was handwoven during the first quarter of the 20th century near the border of Iran and Afghanistan.  It features a design of rosette or burr filled diamonds in a lattice format. In tones of madder red, navy, peachy pink and vibrant pops of ivory providing nice nice contrast and visual interest. Finished with multiple columns of selvedge along the sides and finely woven soumak capping the top and bottom. A well balanced and visually intriguing piece.

This Torba was handwoven by Tekke Turkmen Turkmenistan during the early 20th Century.  This trapping features a design of eight aina güls in earthy red, browns ivory and navy. Framed by a multitude of borders that include zigzags, flowers, diamonds and serrated leaves. A torba is a small storage used to both transport and store belongings that is similar to a chuval but not as deep. Polychrome knotheads remain of what were once long fringes.
