This Moroccan-styled rug was woven during the 21st century in Afghanistan.  It features an idiosyncratic pattern of diamond lattices. that have the feel of pencil quickly scribbled on paper. A simple palette of soft bluish gray lines which almost appear scribbled upon the shaggy cream ground. Woven of hearty, hand-spun Afghan wool giving it durability and extra heft not commonly found in the Moroccan weaving usually associated with this patterning.

This Moroccan-styled rug was woven during the 21st century in India.  It features an idiosyncratic pattern of wonky interconnected diamonds on a ground of alternating stripes in different widths and colors and full of various small diamond shapes. The diamond lattice is outlined in a thick white band flanked by smaller back and green bands and appears to float above the polychrome striped ground that alternates between vibrant tones red, green and watermelon and calmer tones of pale yellow and sand.

This Vintage Checker Gabbeh Rug  features a field of checkered squares composed of a variety of variegated tones of undyed wool in shades of gray, beige, and dark and light brown. The squares are neatly yet imperfectly ordered slightly shifting in scale. Each square is clearly delineated in a dark brown outline and the whole composition is framed by a gray band. Both light and dark handspun wool warps were used which add visual interest to the fringes. The pile is densely woven, making this a plush rug.
