This Tabriz rug was handwoven during the second quarter the 20th century.
It features an ornate all-over design of muted palmettes and floral sprays in various soft shades of caramel, khaki and terracotta on an undulating indigo ground. It is framed by a border of alternating palmettes on meandering vines on a dusty peach ground. Very decorative, a soft, and elegant piece that will subtly elevate any space.
In good condition, the pile is worn low evenly throughout
