This Kayseri rug was handwoven in Turkey during the third quarter of the 20th century.
It features a central medallion on an open field with four cornices. The ornate patterning is softened by the limited palette of beiges and browns. Soft tones and limited contrast make this a very easy rug to decorate around.
It is in very good condition with an even pile.
