This Navajo rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This Navajo rug features a warm golden fields framed by crisp stepped “arrow” or chevron bands in cream and a soft, muted purple. The alternating bands create a gentle, rhythmic movement across the textile. The palette is uncommon yet harmonious showcasing the beauty of handspun wool and classic Navajo design logic.
In very good condition. The weaving is tight and balanced, with a supple handle typical of mid-century Navajo craft.
