This vibrant green wool panel is richly adorned with colorful chain-stitch embroidery and was originally intended as the upper portions of traditional Kashmiri slippers (jooti or khussa). The bold floral motifs—rendered in vivid coral, blue, crimson, and ivory silk threads are enclosed within sweeping arabesques and stylized lotus forms, all outlined with gleaming metallic thread.
