A geometric, polychrome Shirvan kilim woven during the late 19th century in the Caucasus. This kilim features a striped pattern of bold geometric shapes in light and dark blues, peaches, golds, and the rare green. Interspersed along the sides are small symbols and shapes, filling in the negative space. These wonderful moments of asymmetry really emphasize the handmade quality of this rug. Colorful and joyous, it's bound to bring cheer to any interior. It works well as both a layering piece or stand-alone gem. In excellent condition, with little to no signs of wear, consistent with age.
