This Afshar rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century. 

It features an all-over design that is a variation of a herati pattern. The boxy abstracted flowers are rendered in red, orange and turqouise hues on a midnight blue ground. Very figures and talismans can be found hidden amongst the field including a person on horseback and what appears to be the word

This Afshar rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.

Very figures and talismans can be found hidden amongst the field including a person on horseback and what appears to be the word "Shiraz" written in arabic script.

In very good condition with some wear through the middle.
