Mid-century European kilim, most probably handwoven in Sweden.
This minimalist kilim features a marled brown-yellow central field, framed by a marled grey border with a soft-yellow diamond design. The large outer border is composed of an offset diamond motif, this time woven in light yellow, peach, orange, and mustard. Swedish kilims traditionally employ a marled yarn combining multiple colors, which give it that soft pastel color.
Notice the bottom left corner featuring the initials JA.
In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Flatwoven, with a sturdy handle.
