THIS PIECE IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD
This Bakhtiari rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.
It features a navy central medallion on patinated red ground. The main border is in the same red and filled with serpentine leaves that swirl like bent ribbons. The blues and reds showcase a spectacular abrash or natural dye variation that give this piece fantastic movement.
In very good condition, with some minimal wear throughout. Low pile, with a heavy handle.
