This Heriz rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.
This Heriz features an allover design of scrolling two-tone leaves in a variety of color combinations on a rare ivory ground. All-over designs are less common on Heriz rugs which most often feature large central medallions. Framed by a main border that is composed of rosettes and alternating palmettes on midnight blue ground.
In Good condition, with even wear throughout often to the cotton foundation. All four sides have been reinforced for longevity. Low pile with a sturdy handle.
