This rug features a curvilinear floral design on a patinated red field. The floral work is intricate and an excellent example of the type of floral sprays Sarouk rugs are known for. The main border features scrollingpalmetteson a navy ground. It comes in a very rare squarish format.
In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Pile is low and densely woven, with a very sturdy handle.
