This Khamseh rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century. It features a field of three connected latch-hooked medallions and various rosettes and flowering shrubs floral motifs. Rendered in a vibrant jewel tones of blue, green, red and yellow with ivory and brown accents. An energetic ivory main border is flanked by minor borders of polychrome botehs that sparkle like rows of Christmas lights.

This Khamseh rug was handwoven during the second quarter of the 20th century.

It features a field of three connected latch-hooked medallions, and various rosettes and flowering shrub floral motifs. Rendered in vibrant jewel tones of blue, green, red, and yellow with ivory and brown accents. An energetic ivory main border is flanked by minor borders of polychrome botehs that sparkle like rows of Christmas lights.  

In very good condition, with light but even wear throughout. The pile is low, with an airy but sturdy handle. All four sides have been reinforced for longevity. The exposed fringe composed of handspun wool adds a rustic touch.
