Caucasian Verneh kilim woven during the second quarter of the 20th century (1925-1950).
It features a blue and brown plaid weave with ivory soumak embroidery in a grid formation. Small symbols and shapes in the center of the squares add visual interest. This kilim was probably made for use as a cover or a sofreh.
