This Beshir Turkmen rug was handwoven during the third quarter of the nineteenth century (1850-1875) in Central Asia.
Features a beautiful all over checkerboard pattern in ivory red, with touches of blue, green, and purple.
Overall wear is consistent with age, one corner featuring some old and recently reinforced repairs (pictured).
