This Beshir Turkmen rug was handwoven during the third quarter of the nineteenth century (1850-1875) in Central Asia.

Features a beautiful all-over checkerboard pattern in ivory red, with touches of blue, green, and purple.

Overall wear is consistent with age, one corner featuring some old and recently reinforced repairs (pictured).
